Florian works with Latin and other world scripts and has designed font projects for: Armenian, Cyrillic, Devanagari, Georgian, Greek, Hebrew and Latin. He regularly collaborates with design studios and type foundries around the world. Since 2015 he works closely with global visual design agency Brody Associates to work on various custom fonts, most notably the Samsung One multi‑script typeface family. His debut typeface Gitan was published by Rosetta Type in 2016.
Florian holds an MA in Typeface Design from the University of Reading and is a visiting typeface design mentor at the international type design workshop TypeClinic in Slovenia. He is a contributor to the independent archive of typography Fonts In Use and his interests range from researching the history of type and graphic design to multi‑script typeface design and typography.
